This is a beautiful book from the pen of Rossa Ó Snodaigh. It is aimed at children between the ages 6-11 and as it indicates in the title it is a journey through the alphabet! The sound of each letter is introduced in small verses linking the names of countries, an action and culture together. Little adventures based on the alphabet and beautifully illustrated by Wayne O'Connor.

An added bonus is the music Rossa has composed for each verse, based on the traditional music from each country mentioned. Those who buy the book can access the music on www.kila.ie/aistir.

There's no doubt that children will enjoy the book and it is a valuable teaching resource for teachers and parents alike.

It is the first in a series of books being prepared by Rossa. He hopes that the next book will hit the shelves in early summer 2021.
